The Rabbit

Just drove 200 miles to a meeting only no one else showed… ugh. If only I had gotten home an hour earlier. I might have made it to the last matinee of Spiderman.

My old car at 80 mph was like the Enterprise at maximum warp. Cavitating and scary. She canna take much more of this Capt’n. She falling apart at the seams. Having a real car is prolly scary to most people on the road. I grew up on racing video games so I still kind of drive that way. Fast.

Typically most people pass me, but when I am alone and in a good mood I pass most everyone except the few I like to call “bait”. My bait are the cars that go really fast at least 15-20 mph faster than the speed limit and have a radar detector in the windshield. I let them get over a half mile ahead and just speed up to keep them in sight. Even then 3-5 cars an hour will pass me. The bait with radar detectors usually slow down at speed traps, warning me it is coming. Even those without, I figure even in major GSP speed trap there will be at the most 3 chasing officers a side of the interstate. They will react to the bait and hopefully not come after me.

Yeah, I know it is stupid, but I haven’t been caught so far *knock on wood*

This reminds me of the 3 crotch rockets that passed me today. I now know why they call them that. I was going 65 and they passed me like I was standing still. They had to be doing well over 120mph! scary.
