Broken Links

I just broke all your links to anything other than this blog’s pages (home, quotes, reading, about). Sorry. The new autosave putting gaps in the post sequence annoyed me.

And…. it is 1:30am.

Search lijit for it or leave a comment. I’ll do my best to direct you.

I felt conspicuously under dressed downtown tonight. Lots of people out and about wearing either 208,0,0 n 0,0,0 or 153,0,0 n 255,255,255.

The male red n blacks were dressed in white shirts, black pants, and red tie. The female red n blacks were dressed in little black dresses and red accessories.

Both male and female dark red and whites were dressed in tee shirts and shorts.

I was dressed in a blue polo and shorts.

Took this the other morning with digital macro and angled for the light reflections.

Morning Dew

Katherine sent this to me some time ago, but I never could find the email. Her husband showed it to me today. Love… it…. I’m such a nerd.

Flickr Group Admin

Got this odd message from Flickr…

The last administrator of [group name] has left the group and you have been made into an administrator. This is because you are the longest serving member of the group. Well done :)

This is an interesting way of ensuring someone is an administrator of a group. Unfortunately, I have enough groups to administrate (which I don’t do well). So, I just left that one and passed the buck on to another unfortunate soul.

Asking the Impossible

Ahhh, Rands keeps letting the secrets out of the bag.

I don’t know how many impossible requests you get, but I do know that frequent impossible requests result in an erosion of respect and a decaying of credibility. And that means when the CEO is standing up in front of the troops asking them to perform magic all they’re thinking is, “This crap again?”

I’ve been there.

Concentric Perspective

Took this tonight. I like the result. No tripod. Just steadied on a knot on the tree and relying on the image stabilization gyros.
