Think of it like instead of hundreds of open tabs, I collected thousands of items. Most recently the tool to collect them was <a href=\"https:\/\/getpocket.com\/@808p2T33A31c3d1621g1e0lg59d7A16659ct07e292H19ap8cFY34K98E8cVP862?src=navbar\">Pocket<\/a>, but I&#8217;ve abandoned huge troves of items in other bookmarking sites or apps. Evernote, Diigo, Instapaper, and others which escape my memory. With the implosion of a servic, i lost everything put into it. That, and a really big pivotal event a decade ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I went to find that old event to provide additional context. Other than a single cryptic work email and a later news article about the past event, I can&#8217;t find anything. I can&#8217;t find it in DuckDuckGo, Google, or personal chats. The work chat we used at the time is gone. (The current chat doesn&#8217;t keep much history.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My frustration makes me think I should return to heavily bookmarking. I have lots of stuff from the newspaper that covers the area I am seeking in Pocket, but they are from after the period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had to look at Wikipedia, and Pocket was Read It Later in the relevant period. Doing more poking, I suspect I was using Instapaper then.
