That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the basis of innovation \u00e2\u20ac\u201d you take an enlightened and empathetic point of view and combine it with your own unique point of view to create something new. In a short period of time, the quality of listings improved and number of options increased.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/podcasts\/510313\/how-i-built-this\">How I Built This with Guy Raz<\/a> podcast, Gebbia calls this Enlightened Empathy.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NPR embedded audio player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/player\/embed\/543035808\/546156152\" width=\"100%\" height=\"290\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While doing web design, we talked to the administrators for the department who wanted a site.
