If Sanford and Son was on TV, then\u00c2\u00a0we watched it. Enjoyed the show as a tyke, mostly because I identified myself with the characters&#8230; irreverent, sneaky, and caustic. Scarily, some think I still live up to those qualities. A few years ago, I learned that Demond Wilson is from my\u00c2\u00a0dad&#8217;s home town\u00c2\u00a0and actually my dad\u00c2\u00a0<strong>knew<\/strong> him.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically enough another TV show I heavily identified with, the Dukes of Hazzard also has a character from my dad&#8217;s\u00c2\u00a0home town.<\/p>\n<p>Going to go home and watch and vege.
