QotD: My First Flight

Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?

Yes, I remember my first flight. It was from JAX (Jacksonville International) to Raleigh-Durham. There we would catch a connecting flight to La Guardia near New York City. The trip was to attend the Baha'i World Congress. Visiting NYC for a week was outstanding. We ate at fabulous restaurants, saw thousands of Baha'is, and visited important historical or artistic or well-known sites.

Before that flight, I was terrified of flying. As a veteran flyer, I am not nearly so terrified of flying.
