Unicast

More on the intrusive ads front. Heard from the Code Monkey that Unicast wants an ad that will fill your entire screen.

Why? Because everyone loves T.V. ads of course! If it works on T.V., then it will certainly work on a computer.

Ezra (Hebrew) Meaning

Ezra (Hebrew)

Meaning: Helper, strong
Motivation: Motivated to help others
Character: Defiant under pressure
Feelings: Is a person who takes life as it comes
Intelligence: Has an alert mind
Spiritual: Believes in others
Nature: Has a bright and effervescent personality
Inherent: A non-judgmental person

I can understand that some people feel they need to protect their intellectual property. One spends a lot of time, effort, inspiration, and talen to put together quality art.

However, when it comes to web sites that disable the right mouse button, I get really irritated. In the old days, I would copy the web site and email to the person in a zip file.

  • 4/28/2003 12:02 AM by Italian6BabeI agree with you guys…the internet is a world of vast information..if you don’t want something to be made available to others, to share with others, etc., then don’t put it on the internet!BTW..thanks for stopping by and wishing me luck! 🙂

    Take care <3

Once upon a time everything on the Internet was free

… and everything was good.

Then people needed to make money to stay in business. Advertising littered every site, and everything was pretty good.

Then people stopped responding to the advertising, so the companies either left or started to charge, and everything was okay.

Then people stopped buying the inferior products, the companies left, and everything started to work right for a change.

I had Premium Xanga. I let it lapse. Now, the annoying ads are enough to make me not really all that interested in this site. I would have given them the money, but I guess I missed the email. Now, I am so used to the lack of ads that the presence of the ads is making me consider not using this site at all.
