Interesting weekend, I must say.

First, tried to get this nice girl at work to go play pool with me. Gave her my cell number. She never called. Oh, well. Maybe next time? I went up to CJ's Sat night, to play pool. Ran into an old friend. We visited for a while, catching up. We then hopped over to Loozie's that was supposed to have a great band.

That place is way too small. Plus it was off/on raining, we were under dressed, and getting from the deck out back to the front door took 5 minutes of standing in line. Don't know how people stand it? Ran into a several people I knew from college, but otherwise the place was a bust. Pretty scary when I am the one that knows people.

So we deided to make our way back to CJ's. My friend got a call that another of our buddies is down from TN and at CJ's. That clinched it. We dropped in and played pool until about 3 AM.

That night I just didn't have it in me, I guess. Was hardly making a shot. Most cut too much, I think. At the very end of the night, I played with Michelle and did better in that game than the rest of the night. Though I did hit a dry spot when I only had 3 balls on the table.

Gotta get a workshop prepped for tomorrow. Have a total of 6 hours to work with a group of 10 faculty. Should be very interesting. This is only my 5 one ever. My last one was a year ago almost. :)
